Perhaps they had been deposited towards differing corners of this world, much like the earthpulses back home. She and her crew had traveled across the world in their bid to undermine their foes’ efforts at world domination, and seen almost everything-unless she was utterly mistaken, this land was very much a different world.Īnd it appeared that the rift branched out midway, as there was no sign of her motley crew anywhere. Now, the crew was no stranger to rifts in the air that led to other places, but this one was different, as it appeared to have deposited them in a different world entirely. The last thing the young woman remembered was that she and her traveling band of misfits had been chasing a pair of rogue wyverns that were going to attack a nearby village across one of her home world’s fields, when a tear in the air opened up in front of them all of a sudden. Ignoring the migraine poking at her brain like a thousand searing needles, she blinked multiple times in a bid to clear her vision, and after a few repetitions of the act, what the young woman saw was enough to clue her in that this was not her home world, nor any place she was remotely familiar with.
